School & Group Tours at Valley Star Farm!

Each year at the Pumpkin Patch, we encourage schools to bring their students for a visit. Teachers, children, and adults learn about the pumpkin and gourd growing process.

We also explore the history unique facts about pumpkins and gourds-- their many uses-- what is edible and what is not. Fun facts about Halloween are also shared.

This "hands on" tour and lesson is approximately one hour long and cost is $2.00 per child.

At the conclusion of the lesson, everyone gets to stroll through our pumpkin maze and choose a pumpkin. Each child also receives a decorative gourd.
