School & Group Tours at Valley Star Farm!

Each year at the Pumpkin Patch, we encourage schools to bring their students for a visit. Teachers, children, and adults learn about the pumpkin and gourd growing process.

We also explore the history unique facts about pumpkins and gourds-- their many uses-- what is edible and what is not. Fun facts about Halloween are also shared.

This "hands on" tour lesson is approximately 20 minutes long and includes entry to the pumpkin patch, the Corn Maze and Playland. The maze is an educational experience for children and adults. Everyone will learn facts about corn and farm animals as they search for clues to solve the puzzle of the maze. Cost is $5.00 per child.

At the conclusion of the lesson, everyone gets to choose a small pumpkin and a decorative gourd to take home
