And, if you don't want to venture into the fields, we have fresh cut trees available, including Fraser Fir.

We are located just 3 miles north of Luray, just off U.S. Highway 340; just minutes away from the Luray Caverns and the Skyline Drive.

Valley Star Farm has a wonderful selection of trees to choose from including; White Pine, Scotch Pine, Norway Spruce, Colorado Blue Spruce, Concolor Fir, and Douglas Fir.

Fed Ex will be picking up our trees on November 30 and they will be heading to Fort Story, VA for distribution.

If you supported the 2011 Christmas Spirit Foundation’s TREES FOR TROOPS program we wish to thank you for your contribution.  Through your generosity over 103,000 real Christmas Trees were delivered to military families at 59 military bases in the United States and overseas last Christmas. 

This year Valley Star Farm, Evergreen Tree Farm, other Christmas tree farms across the country are teaming up with Fed Ex Corporation and the Christmas Spirit Foundation to again deliver real Christmas Trees to our troops.  Since it’s inception in 2005, this program has provided 103,000 fresh cut Christmas Trees to military families.

 

You are invited to participate in Trees for Troops by purchasing a Real Christmas Tree from Valley Star Farm in Luray or Evergreen Tree Farm in Keezletown.  For each $35.00 tree purchased these farms will donate an additional Real Christmas Tree, doubling the number of trees going to our troops.

Fed Ex, who contributes their trucks and their drivers absolutely free, usually picks up the trees by the end of November for timely delivery to the military bases.

We think this is a great way to show our appreciation for and help bolster the Christmas Spirit for our brave military men and women around the country.  Trees can be purchased at either farm or by sending a check for $35.00 per tree to Valley Star Farm,  390 Almond Drive,  Luray, VA 22835.  Thanks for helping us show our soldiers that our support and prayers go with them wherever they are called.

The helpful staff at Valley Star Farm will assist you in any way possible. We can even cut your tree froy you and bring it in from the field. Don't forget--we also offer tree shaking and bagging for your convenience as you take your tree home.

Valley Star Farm makes fresh wreaths, swags and garlands daily to help with your holiday decorating.

We will make any of these styles to your specifications and we can decorate them for you, or let you do it yourself. We have plenty of handmade bows, pine cones and other holiday decorations you can add to them yourself.

If you want a tree you can "enjoy for a lifetime," we offer a selection of "dug" trees. This way you can decorate your tree for the season then plant it afterwards as a memory of that special holiday.
